Rated 5 out of 5 by TacticalGuy Good for Law Enforcement training
Heard about these from the Lone Survivor novel, where the author/SEAL uses and greatly recommends them. Bought a pair as I'm going through an extended period of law enforcement training for several months. Been a few weeks and I can say they're durable so far, very comfortable, supportive yet flexible, and look nice and professional. The grip is exactly how it should be. Brings each step where it should be while keeping sure footing and not sticking. The instructors even knew this boot by name and positive reputation amongst LEO's in our area. A great investment for light/heavy training days.

Rated 4 out of 5 Very good boot.
I have worn these for nearly a year. They are my go to boot. Very comfortable. They size about a half a size small. 9.5 buy 10. Waterproof as advertised. Uppers wear very well. Ball of the foot on the sole is wearing faster than I would like. Some lugs have broken off from that area. Sure would have liked to give these a 5 star rating as it is a very comfortable daily wearing boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dwight Outstanding boot if you can get it on
Obvious negative, you better not be in a rush when entering or exiting this boot. It's a long process. That's about it for negatives.
On the plus side they are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn. I've been driving manual trans. cars for 15 years, and never felt comfortable wearing winter boots cause they don't allow ankle articulation. But these are amazing, I can run comfortably, bend low to the ground to pick-up/play with my son, and very comfortable when working the clutch on my car during aggressive driving. (haven't worn boots in years cause of this, never got used to it I guess)
Would easily get 5 stars if they were easier to get on/off. Also I would suggest a half size larger than your normal. I usually float between a 10 and 10.5, so I bought in 10.5 and it's a little snug, but I feel 11 would have been slightly to big. Hope this helps. Cheers

Rated 2 out of 5 by LordSeller Decent Boots
I bought this as bit of an alternative to hiking boots that usually come in garish colours, however when they arrived.....they are UGLY! They were a little on the tight side (im a UK10 but bought a 10.5) but they were too snug had I have kept them.
Overall though the boots looked very well made, strong feel, come with spare laces, good grip on the soles and a comfortable supportive neck.....but too ugly for me to keep !

Rated 4 out of 5 by esme108 As a K9 Handler I am on the go all day long. I just purchased my second pair of GSG 9.2 high boots. They are very light weight and flexible while offering great ankle stability. They fit true to size, have good arch support and are truly waterproof. They're ready to wear right out of the box, requiring no break in phase. The only thing keeping from giving them a rating of "excellent" is that the tabs for the shoe laces have a tendency to break and require repair. This product would be greatly improved simply by making metal grommets for the laces.

These boots are in general a great pair of boots! At first try I noticed immediately that are NOT "true to size", you might want to order 1-1 1/2 size bigger than your actual size depending on weather your feet are wide or regular. I have been wearing them for a week now, and they do loosen-up and will widen after your feet after a day or two and they feel much better. They are somewhat spacy in the heel area which gives you the sensation that your foot lifts from the boot, that could be me heels being narrow and solved with "heel snugs", I just don't normally have that issue with other similar boots. But, they are very comfortable once they adjust to your feet and are worn-in properly. They are light-weight and feel like sneakers once you find your fit, the treads are amazing and gives you a confident grip, they go through water and mud without wetting your feet, as any other boot you will get warm feet but so far they take care of odors quite well, however, that should not be an excuse not to care for them with odor/mold spray. I am just curious to find out how well they will be doing with polish/leather care products, I have had issues with the leather soften up and crack on other boots even with products especially made for the purpose of caring for tactical boots. If that works out fine, this will be the boot I will continuously purchasing and it will come in first place before my loved Magnum Cobra 8.0 boots, that had that very issue but still one of my better boots I have ever worn and so far the Adidas are doing the job very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by adidaddy THE BEST 8" BOOTS YOU CAN BUY!
Great pair of boots! The treads are amazing! They go through water, snow, and mud with ease. The boot are the lightest I've put on. They feel like soccer cleats. Usually theres foot fatigue when I wear shoes or boots for long periods of time but not with these. I've walked for hours in several feet of snow and my feet didn't get tired or wet. They kept me warm in the cold and are still breathable. Adidas did a great job with the CLIMAPROOF membrane very similar to Gore-Tex. It would be nice to see ADITUFF in the toe area becasue you can easily scratch the leather. Also like to see FORMORTION in the heel. Otherwise great job adidas!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jterran really good
Just what I expected, except a little warmer than I thought--doesn't seem very breathable and in weather much above freezing, might be too warm. Definitely a narrow shoe but that's fine for me. Seems a little longer than true-to-size, but this is the case for Nike as well. I take a 12 in both Adidas and Nike shoes and the 12 is perfect here too, perhaps just slightly larger than running shoes--large enough to allow for medium wool socks. It usually take an 11.5 in dress shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SiFlyBy Best $150 I ever spent
I was extremely skeptical about the slip-resistance of the boots on flat smooth surfaces just by looking at the tread pattern. I was pleasantly surprised by how wrong I was. I am an automotive technician in a new shop with concrete floors that are epoxied and very smooth. These boots provide excellent traction on the floor especially when wet with water or anitfreeze and do ok in oil trans fluid(no footwear sticks to slick floor with oil or trans fluid on it). I will probably continue to buy these for the rest of my days. Adidas has always been my favorite brand and I am glad to be able to wear them to work as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dougster Width Not True To Size
The rating provided above is based on fit only. I would recommend the boot, IF they fit properly. I was extremely disappointed upon receiving my GSG 9.2 boots. The boots were lightweight and appeared to be well made. However, unlike other reviews I had read before ordering the boots, which claimed that the boots fit "true to size", my boots did not fit true to size, with respect to the width. The boots were extremely narrow and uncomfortable. Even after completely unlacing the boots and making sure they were not tightly laced, I was unable to get comfortable in them. I will be returning the boots for a refund.
