First thing first, the prime knit on this model is more like a mesh than the primeknit on the all-star version. Im usually a 8.5, but every other model of the DROSE6 I've tried my foot was right up front touching the end. I decided to go with a 9 instead and I felt it might have been a little roomy on top of my foot, a bit of dead space. I added the insole I had in my climachill pair and it felt just right. The boost in this is crazy effective and they fit well with the extra insole.
For the price of this shoe you are getting incredible value and comfort. Also style wise this shoe looks great more of a high top then I was expecting but it's flexible not the most flashy shoe but that is what I was looking for.
These are the most compftorable shoes I have every had. They are well worth it. The only part that is not so great is that I got some dirt on the toe and I have tried numerous times to get it out and is barely noticeable now.
These shoes work great for basketball. I did get a little blister on the out sides of both of my large toes because they are a bit narrow... but other than that they are doing the job. definitely not my favorite pair of shoes. But I like how the pattern is not exactly mirrored on the shoes. both shoes have a unique but correlating pattern.
I went half a size down with my shoe and it just was too small so I sent it back and went true to size and it was a almost a perfect fit. The shoe has best traction and cushioning I have ever used and for the price the materials are just crazy, get this shoe if you are a big or small man you will not regret it! I regret not trying adidas basketball shoes earlier.
I love these shoes...use to wear a lot of Kobes, but these made me change my mind. They feel natural on your feet and at that they're at an reasonable price. Excited for the upcoming color ways and the D.Lillard 3's in the future!
Solid shoe. Runs 1/2 size large. I have a very wide foot and the forefoot was sufficiently accommodating. Traction is better on the d Lillard 2 when dust is present, as opposed to the 2.0 due to the different traction pattern on the crazylight boost mid/outsole. Due to the material used in the bootie, I experienced some heel slipping to start, but once the material roughened up a bit and I broke the shoe in it was fine. You're probably not going to get better performance or materials for the price, boost is amazing--if only it was full length.
On of the best shoes I have bought. It's more comfortable than i think. And the price is not crazy , I strongly recommend to buy a pair of this if you are looking for a good point guard basketball shoes.
I always have to break in my basketball shoes and, so far, I've only worn these once. I didn't feel any instant comfort but I may just need to wear them a few times. On the right shoe, I felt a bit more pressure on the front of my ankle where the highest lace is tied. I checked the inside of the tongue and there was nothing out of the ordinary there. My left shoe was fine so I'm not sure what the issue was with the right shoe. Again, maybe I just have to break them in. I do love the grip of the outsole though. I was slipping at all and I was able to pivot and quickly stop and go without any issues.
I wore my friends another Adidas shoe of size 9.5, it was perfect so I ordered my first Adidas shoe. The shoe is slightly narrow (the same size shoe of my friend's is not as narrow as it is). But I think it will be okay in course of time
While attending the Wolves @ Suns game I noticed Andrew Wiggins shoes and purchased them on my phone on the Adidas site immediately. They arrived 2 days later. Very happy with my purchase and have received many compliments on the look of the shoe.
Went 1/2 down and they fit perfectly. Heel cushioning is awesome. Forefoot cushioning is non existent. Isn't comfortable, but it's not uncomfortable. Just feels like ground. Looks amazing and it's cheap. Definitely a nice pick up if you can overlook the lack of forefoot cushioning. Not a ball player. Casual wearer
Great shoe, low comfortable ride Played ball with it for hours, never felt any pain in my knees and ankles. Boost cushion is "the beast". The primeknit material didn't require the usual break in time. A little long though, but I went a half size down and it was just right.
Catch everyone's eye when I wear them on court, switched out for thicker insole for a little more cushion, this also solved a little of the dead space problem I was having above he toes. Make sure you keep wiping the outsold and you're good. Got mine for 70 something and I'd definitely recommend, but if they're over 100, go with the d lillards or crazy light.
i was waiting for either a price drop or the right colorway. well the right colorway came out first. in my opinion i think i would have liked it more with black and the multi color but i am also ok with the dark blue color. traction: once u see the close lines u start to think that dust will easily get trapped there and it is kinda true. i play on a court that is fairly to very clean so i wasn't having much trouble. material: it's not primeknit nice but the upper is like this nice jacquard feel to it. the inside feels very soft which was a great plus. fit: i have a slightly wide foot and i went true to size. adidas usually leaves a lil room in their shoes but not this time. i got that nice glove like fit. cushion: i don't know why but i like the boost on these more than the drose 6. it just felt right. it was just plush and firm enough on a casual wear but once the boost is activated the shoe feels amazing. if you've never experience boost then it'll be fun. overall: it has everything you could want in a shoe. it has nice material, good cushion, good design, nice colorway, good fit, and best of all......the price. easily the best shoe out there right now.
The shoe quality felt very good when I first put it on, took two games before they broke in. Didn't feel as contained in the shoe as I'd hoped I would. The shoes grip is excellent probably the best aspect of this shoe for me.
Best shoes I have worn in a long time.. Bounce cushion is very comfortable and the jacquard material makes these perfect for people with wide feet. Thanks to nightwing2303, I took his advice and went down a half size and it was spot on
These shoes run 1/2 size too big. Once you have tried them on though, and manage the correct size, they are an excellent performance basketball shoe. Great overall quality at an excellent price point. There are numerous details and personal touches to the shoe. I'd highly recommend a pair.
Love this shoe, the crazylight boost 2.5 is a great and comfortable sneaker to begin with but with this all star inspired model they took it off the charts, the glow in the dark aspects and Xeno scales really set this sneaker off, it's a definite head Turner on the court or on the street, throw boost cushioning into the mix and you have a winner!!
It is a Nice shoes to start with. Great design with nice colorway. I love the reflective 3M like scales. Performance had good grip, good comfort overall with the boost technology. I had the 2015 crazylight, this one is slightly better in term of the cushion.
These are an exceptional pair of shoes; in fact they are my second favourite ever behind the Jordan 28. The quality is exceptional. A woven upper, patent leather details, continental outsole, and great detailing. I managed to use a student promo code, so got them for $98!!! The cushion is very comfortable. Bounce isn't as 'bouncy' as boost, but is more stable and rides very smoothly. Bounce feels far better than lunarlon, more stable than boost, and allows for good court feel. The transition is very smooth, and the shoe felt stable. Traction is good, not great. I find myself wiping regularly, but have only slipped once. The pattern is very tight, so if you play on dusty courts, be ready to clean the outsole every once in a while. The fit is good, if you go half a size down. I ordered my regular size, but this is because I wear a bulky ankle brace. If possible, I definitely recommend going half a size down. All in all a terrific shoe for an outstanding price, just beware that going half a size down is recommended (even for wide footers).
First - these are beautiful shoes. If you're looking for sneakers with looks, these are it. Second - the sizing. I usually wear 10.5 or 11 and I had to go down to 10. Even though, they did not feel as tight as I'd like and I usually do not like my sneakers tight. As the lacing system is interesting, it just doesn't feel like it holds everything in. The sizing is so strange in fact that I'm not sure if I'll be balling in them as my feet felt too loose and for me, rolling my ankles is a concern - more so than other low top sneakers. Traction - wonderful. Cushion - heel is boost. Front is meh. LOL. If you like to feel very close to the court then the forefoot cushioning is for you. But if you're balling for hours on end, the lack of impact protection in the front cushion area may be a concern. If it wasn't for the sizing issue, I'd give this 4 stars.
Fits super big. I'm a 9.5 and I got a 9 and there's still a little space left over. Best to try it on in store. Super comfy because of the boost in the heel but the rest of the shoe feels low to the ground.
The primeknit is extremely comfortable, breathable, and great looking. The lockdown of the shoe, as far as width, is exceptional; you truly feel your foot enveloped by the sock structure. The only problem for me is the length; I felt there was a little too much space in the toe box. If I had a chance, I would have gone a half size lower, since the shoe is starting to break in, and now it feels more roomy. I like the boost in the heel, but it does feel a little strange not having it in the forefoot. Overall a great shoe, especially for the price, which is excellent.
Already bought a pair of the RipCity colourway which I did a review of here. What can I say? After more wears and inspections these shoes impress me even more. I've been buying adidas (and many other brands) BBall kicks for 20 plus years & I have my favourites (Gil Zero Formotions, D.Rose 1.5, 5's etc..) this has to be in my top 5. People break down the pros & cons of kicks in reviews but when there's no cons (for me anyway) there's no point! One reviewer said they're expensive??? I used a 10% and paid around £85 but even without the discount these shoes are well below the average price of basketball kicks, especially for the tech they have. I also ordered an ID pair, I mean c'mon, a Mi adidas custom for £85, crazy!!!
