Decided to buy these as I have used the energy boost since there release a few years back also tried the ultra boost but I find the energy boost much more comfortable and have much more stability around the ankle it's definitely a step up from the energy boost 2 Adidas are doing a great job slightly tweaking the energy boost with each release and these are fantastic upgrade...only gripe I do have is I would like more selection of colours available
This is my first pair of shoes from Adidas with the boost tech and will not be my last. The shoes are a tiny bit on the narrow side, but expected for runners. Extremely comfortable, well made, and very comfortable. You feel the boost with every stride.
First thing first, the prime knit on this model is more like a mesh than the primeknit on the all-star version. Im usually a 8.5, but every other model of the DROSE6 I've tried my foot was right up front touching the end. I decided to go with a 9 instead and I felt it might have been a little roomy on top of my foot, a bit of dead space. I added the insole I had in my climachill pair and it felt just right. The boost in this is crazy effective and they fit well with the extra insole.
Having worn Energy Boost and Boost 2 before, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. These are incredibly comfortable and great for running - good cushioning for impact - which is also good for the knees.
I gave these a good try out today. They are featherweight, and fit really well. They also look good. Pros: Really light Very comfortable Sleek looking shoe Mesh upper allows for great airflow Cons: You will need to order a full size bigger (I'm normally a UK10, but needed a UK11, which fit perfectly) Arch support isn't great, especially if you're an overpronator like me I would definitely recommend this product.
The adidas Pure Boost ZG Prime is carefully engineered with a Primeknit upper giving the shoe a more fluid feel and comfortable fit. Visibly, the molded eyestay gives the shoe a more dynamic fit that hugs your foot like a second skin. Natural fit, plus the EVA outsole, offers a smooth ride along with the comfortable Boost cushioning. Again, you can’t ever go wrong with Boost.
I highly recommend the adidas boost trainees. iv had the ultra boost and the energy boost and used both to train in the gym and do alot of running. I wont be going back to other brands after finding these I will defiantly be ordering more in the future
Only done a couple of short runs in these so far but they are a great fit. Could be a little more snug in the heel which some people prefer but I don't mind a little bit of movement. Feel great under foot and hold firm across the arch.
So I have been training in running shoes for years. This is my first pair of trainers and I love them. I am a trainer and member at Title Boxing Club and they really help with lateral movement and stability. The boost material is great and the soles are super sticky. I understand the need for the straps on the sides, but after a couple hours of hard training, they did dig the sides of my feet a bit. One to two hour sessions are fine, but if you wear them for more than that or for casual wear you may find a little discomfort. Not sure if they are worth the 40 buck upgrade from the regular ZG trainers but, that being said, they look great, are super bouncy, help with movement and speed. Great job Adidas
I bought these thinking they would be alright for my gym workouts and light running. I bought these thinking the fit would be there, as the usual quality of shoe I've come to expect however what I got was something else. These kick butt! Seriously! I have not taken them off! The fir is snug so if you have wide feet, buyer beware. The side supports are perfectly cinching so I get good movement. No slippage. The neoprene had me nervous but it paid off because it fits my foot perfectly! Well done to the bad boys of Adidas on this one!
Really happy with the adios 3. I run in a few different models and different brands and have to say the adios 3 comes close to nailing the perfect high intensity distance shoe. Perfect blend of cushion and responsiveness. Light weight and a tiny dose of stability. I'm super happy. Was in the Boston before this and am happy I traded down in weight. Classic looks too, means when I retire them from miles I'll be happy to continue wearing them.
I am very pleased with this product,I did choose the wrong colour but in spite of that I really do like them, I have found that because I have a problem with my knees, that these shoes have helped and make walking a lot easier.
My Pure Boost ZG's were incredible straight out of the box. No need to wear them in, microwave, etc.. really no tricks needed to make these fit because this shoe is, like they say, a sock with soles. The appearance is outstanding, they can easily be worn on casual and recreational occasions not just when running. They have quickly become my go to pair of shoes, looks great, feels great, what more could you ask for? Only note of criticism I have is the inside stitching seems like it could be reduced to provide an even more seamless feeling. Adidas has done it again.
I bought a size 9 of these shoes. That was a bit on the small size, since I hadn't taken into account that I need a bigger size to include my orthotics - my bad. The shoes looked very nice with two colored laces as a nice detail. I looked forward to wear them to go to my crossfit training, but since they really felt too small with my orthotics, I returned them.
This show feels like walking on a cloud, that being said the only drawback is that if you have a low arch or flat foot, this shoe offers no support. I have a flat foot and can't run in this shoe until I put an arch raiser inside.
Im very happy with this buy they are very comfortable and looks great too. I already got lots of compliment on how nice they look. They are a little narrow so I recommend you buy half a size up. The quality of the materials used looks real durable. I dont hear much hype on about these kicks but it surely is one of the best shoes I have.
I use the Boston Boost for training runs from 5 miles to 20+ miles. (I tend to race in the Adios version). The shoes are light weight and comfortable, although due to the narrow fitting I get the next size up (EU size 44 instead of 43). Boost cushioning and grip is great. (I am a neutral foot type and these shoes suit me fine - I prefer them to the more cushioned Glide Boost, which feel a little clumpy for me).
The Adizero Adios has been my go to running shoe for all road races from 5K up to Marathon. I have owned the Adios 1 and 2 editions. The main difference with the Adios 3 compared with the Adios 2 is that the toe box is wider and this makes for a more comfortable run, esp for long runs. I tend to get a larger size (so EU size 44 instead of 43) and that suits me fine. Boost cushioning great as ever and the new style Continental grip appears better quality than in the Adios 2 and Adios 1 versions and should prove longer lasting. I would recommend this shoe most definitely - little wonder that it tends to be the marathon racing shoe for the elites.
It's a excellent looking shoe, exactly how it looks in the picture. For size, I have an advice to order .5 size to your regular size. I wear 7.5 and ordered 7.5 which is .5 bigger for me. It's not bad fit after putting a sole so just an advice. An excellent value of your money, must buy!
I bought the shoes thinking they were the primeknit version, even though it says primeknit. These shoes are made out of a mesh although they are extremely comfortable I would prefer the primeknit uppers any day.
Awesome shoe, but these run 1/2 size small, this was confirmed by an adidas rep after I bought them so thankfully adidas.com has free returns! Can't wait for my new shoes to arrive! Light, but supportive and they look good!
Having already run in the Adios 2 I purchased the Adios 3 when a new pair of shoes was required. They fit and feel exactly like the 2 which i love. The laces on the 3 don't seem to move as freely as the 2, but overall these perfect. Light, responsive and with enough cushioning for long runs.
Great design. Tested it out on a run; lightweight, shapes comfortably to your feet, good support for the knees, boost technology does not let down. Plus nice style, perfect to wear at any time. Overall, awesome pair of shoes!
I purchased these as I couldn't afford the ultra boost and overall theyare good running shoes. They have an amazing soft, light feel when you wear them, but they are a little too narrow if you have wide feet. They are not as good or comfortable as the energy boost that I've owned previous to these, but they are good. I would recommend them to anyone who has narrow feet.
I struggle finding a shoe that fits my narrow heel and large arch and thanks to adidas Boston I found the perfect shoe. I have logged over 350 miles and they are only just now showing some age. Provides great cushioning for midfoot to forefoot striker like myself and a comfortable fast ride for those longer 15-20 mile training runs. recommended for a solid neutral probation and efficient runner!
