Overall these are a great looking boot that perform well enough, but I think they're more to check a price point box than they are a staple of the line. Fit: I find the length of this boot to be about right, I wanted to try these after coming from the Magistas. I found the Magistas had to be a half size bigger than my normal shoe size to get the fit I was after. These ran exactly as my sort of "average" shoe size. The mid foot is a little snug and you can expect a little soreness on the outside mid-foot for a few uses until you get your laces dialed in right. I do find I have to keep the higher/top laces slightly more loose to accommodate this, which doesn't quite lock my heel in the way I would prefer. The toe box/forefoot is quite spacious. Performance: touch is very nice, not the softest boot of all time, but more than thin and soft enough to be comfortable with the ball and get a good touch. I do however find that with a quick change of direction and hard plant that my foot slips a lot. As in, I don't recall slipping this my outdoor in turf shoes. Maybe this is unique to my experience, but it's a cause of concern for me. I think the "sock liner" is mostly for aesthetics, as it doesn't really provide the locked in feel that I've grown used to from a sock-liner boot, but I like the seamless feel of having no tongue to slide around. Overall I think this boot is available for price point. I don't know that it's the price difference between than the boot below it if you're looking for value, nor do I know if you're really getting enough of a value to go with this over the boot above it. The fit is good with adjustment, the feel is good, the boot is attractive, the overall performance is so so.
My Predators were getting close to retirement, so I purchased these a few weeks ago. The blue ones had just released, which was great because the green was too bright for me. Took them out to field before a game to break them in, but they were super comfortable from the start. The Primemesh/sock-like thing takes a second to get into because its a little tight, but it adheres well once your foot is in. Overall, great cleats, would recommend.
These boots were great quality and a great fit....my son lives for football and was delighted with them... the 25 per cent discount was an added bonus...i have bought a lot of boots off your site and really cant fault the product ease of ordering and delivery
This is my first pair of shoes from Adidas with the boost tech and will not be my last. The shoes are a tiny bit on the narrow side, but expected for runners. Extremely comfortable, well made, and very comfortable. You feel the boost with every stride.
Having bought and worn many pairs of football boots over the years I have always been interested in the innovation of these products and how decisions are made in terms of ending certain lines and replacing these with new lines. I have had adidas boots since having Adidas Valencia in the 1980's and have done the whole journey from World Cups through Etrusco Unico, Predators, F50's, X Boots and now the Ace. I am still getting used to these but from the first time that you put them on you feel that a lot of the recent incarnations were preludes to this moment. Light, snug but robust. designed to feel part of your foot but also to offer protecton, the design is fantastic and reminds me of the Predators worn by Zidane and Backham circa 1998 but with a modern flourish. The round studs are a welcome return as ACL injuries are more common place in women's football and this should alleviate some of the problems caused by blades and traction studs. They look fantastic on the Telly and gorgeous on your feet. you will get noticed but most importantly they offer security and feel and as said earlier seem to be the perfect hybrid of a light, technical boot that will more than meet most players needs. I have had so many pairs of football boots I have lost count but these would definitely be in my top 3 even at this stage and who knows they could be the boot we have all been waiting for. Well done Adidas
I've almost always preferred Adidas when it comes to sports clothing and footwear. By far and large, this is the best pair of football boots i have ever owned. My foot is narrow and I found the width of these boots to be perfect.
I gave these a good try out today. They are featherweight, and fit really well. They also look good. Pros: Really light Very comfortable Sleek looking shoe Mesh upper allows for great airflow Cons: You will need to order a full size bigger (I'm normally a UK10, but needed a UK11, which fit perfectly) Arch support isn't great, especially if you're an overpronator like me I would definitely recommend this product.
The adidas Pure Boost ZG Prime is carefully engineered with a Primeknit upper giving the shoe a more fluid feel and comfortable fit. Visibly, the molded eyestay gives the shoe a more dynamic fit that hugs your foot like a second skin. Natural fit, plus the EVA outsole, offers a smooth ride along with the comfortable Boost cushioning. Again, you can’t ever go wrong with Boost.
Only done a couple of short runs in these so far but they are a great fit. Could be a little more snug in the heel which some people prefer but I don't mind a little bit of movement. Feel great under foot and hold firm across the arch.
So I have been training in running shoes for years. This is my first pair of trainers and I love them. I am a trainer and member at Title Boxing Club and they really help with lateral movement and stability. The boost material is great and the soles are super sticky. I understand the need for the straps on the sides, but after a couple hours of hard training, they did dig the sides of my feet a bit. One to two hour sessions are fine, but if you wear them for more than that or for casual wear you may find a little discomfort. Not sure if they are worth the 40 buck upgrade from the regular ZG trainers but, that being said, they look great, are super bouncy, help with movement and speed. Great job Adidas
I bought these thinking they would be alright for my gym workouts and light running. I bought these thinking the fit would be there, as the usual quality of shoe I've come to expect however what I got was something else. These kick butt! Seriously! I have not taken them off! The fir is snug so if you have wide feet, buyer beware. The side supports are perfectly cinching so I get good movement. No slippage. The neoprene had me nervous but it paid off because it fits my foot perfectly! Well done to the bad boys of Adidas on this one!
Got these boots last week, after speaking to adidas specialist they told me to buy size 9 and a half, they have arrived and a slightly too big but apart from that great boots, perfect width and very comfortable, I would recommend these
I am very pleased with this product,I did choose the wrong colour but in spite of that I really do like them, I have found that because I have a problem with my knees, that these shoes have helped and make walking a lot easier.
The quality of the shoe felt cheaply made, I was disappointed in the quality of the shoe. The shoes are also not true to size they 1/2 to a full size smaller. I would not recommend this shoe for the price.
My Pure Boost ZG's were incredible straight out of the box. No need to wear them in, microwave, etc.. really no tricks needed to make these fit because this shoe is, like they say, a sock with soles. The appearance is outstanding, they can easily be worn on casual and recreational occasions not just when running. They have quickly become my go to pair of shoes, looks great, feels great, what more could you ask for? Only note of criticism I have is the inside stitching seems like it could be reduced to provide an even more seamless feeling. Adidas has done it again.
Im very happy with this buy they are very comfortable and looks great too. I already got lots of compliment on how nice they look. They are a little narrow so I recommend you buy half a size up. The quality of the materials used looks real durable. I dont hear much hype on about these kicks but it surely is one of the best shoes I have.
I use the Boston Boost for training runs from 5 miles to 20+ miles. (I tend to race in the Adios version). The shoes are light weight and comfortable, although due to the narrow fitting I get the next size up (EU size 44 instead of 43). Boost cushioning and grip is great. (I am a neutral foot type and these shoes suit me fine - I prefer them to the more cushioned Glide Boost, which feel a little clumpy for me).
I bought the shoes thinking they were the primeknit version, even though it says primeknit. These shoes are made out of a mesh although they are extremely comfortable I would prefer the primeknit uppers any day.
I've been wanting to get my hands on a pair of cleats like these for such a long time, ever since I got my Preditor Instinct, I didn't think there would be a better pair that would be as comfortable and fit just as good as they did, but when I received these in the mail I instantly put them on, and they fit just like a glove. Amazing purchase, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Awesome shoe, but these run 1/2 size small, this was confirmed by an adidas rep after I bought them so thankfully adidas.com has free returns! Can't wait for my new shoes to arrive! Light, but supportive and they look good!
Great design. Tested it out on a run; lightweight, shapes comfortably to your feet, good support for the knees, boost technology does not let down. Plus nice style, perfect to wear at any time. Overall, awesome pair of shoes!
I purchased these as I couldn't afford the ultra boost and overall theyare good running shoes. They have an amazing soft, light feel when you wear them, but they are a little too narrow if you have wide feet. They are not as good or comfortable as the energy boost that I've owned previous to these, but they are good. I would recommend them to anyone who has narrow feet.
I've owned a pair of X15.1's for a little over 6 months and have found them to be amazing. They are extremely durable and show very little wear on the upper. Sole plate separation is minimal and this is with playing four times a week on AG pitches. The only downside is the heel counter, the material doesn't have a full "lockdown" feel and it definitely allows your heel to slide up and down a bit. If it had a different material to prevent heel slippage then I would rate this boot 5/5.
I struggle finding a shoe that fits my narrow heel and large arch and thanks to adidas Boston I found the perfect shoe. I have logged over 350 miles and they are only just now showing some age. Provides great cushioning for midfoot to forefoot striker like myself and a comfortable fast ride for those longer 15-20 mile training runs. recommended for a solid neutral probation and efficient runner!
I pronate so I usually purchase new balance to protect my knees when I run but with these shoes I have protection and comfort at r the same time , it feels like your running in space, wonderful product I will get some more but different colors to match my outfit for that day, adidas has always made better products than the competition hands down
