Rated 5 out of 5 by ClimaSam One of the best shoes I've ever used!
The Element Refine is a great shoe all around. The upper is very breathable and flexible. The material seems very rugged and stretches, in case you have wide feet (like me). The outsole is huge and very comfortable. The only problem that I had with the shoe was that the insoles (inserts, sockliners) how ever you may call them, come off from the toe box area when taking off the shoe. You can use the shoe without the insole if you don't like that. The insoles included are quite thin but add a significant amount of comfort. Again, this is a great shoe, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NINJayR Perfect blend of style and comfort!
When I first tried on these shoes, it was the first time that I absolutely had to get multiple pairs of the same shoe! These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are also extremely light-weight and stylish. Sometimes shoes are comfortable, but not the best looking in your collection, or vice versa...However, these shoes hit both for me! They are made out of a nice stretchy mesh material and even come with a soft rubber-like insole. Not so sure on how they are in the running game, but if you're just trying to be casual and comfortable, I recommend the Adidas Element Refines.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Retrosole Great price, comfort and aesthetics!
The Adidas Element Refine Tricot was definately a pleasant surprise for me. I solely purchased this shoe based on the sale price and upon receipt of it, I probably would of bought these at full price. The minimalistic design is actually quite fashionable. The light weight and materials make these very comfortable and the fact that these come with an extra pair of insoles for those that want to wear these sockless is a bonus. Wearing these barefooted makes it seem.. well like your not wearing anything at all. Great shoe overall for light physical activity and stylish as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by shufanatik Very nice...
These shoes are good looking, extremely comfortable and lightweight. I use them only for every day walking and basic gym work (but not running) and so far I really like them a lot! The only thing I don't like about them is that while the mesh upper fabric is sturdy...its VERY THIN. Its so thin that my toe knuckles show through the fabric. And, if anyone has crooked toes or bunions...they'll definitely poke through the fabric and won't look very flattering. I bought the lime green color, so maybe the light color is more revealing than the darker colors. I keep the removable sock liner in just for added comfort (especially wearing them barefoot).

Yes there a copy of the rosches, however adidas has made key improvements and has kept the price the same as the rosches. I own a pair of these and rosches and one major difference i have found is that these are much better quality. The rosches material on the upper is a standard mesh material the tends to look odd when they are on foot because it doesnt keep its form. These have a knitted upper which is much more durable and keeps its form. In my opinion the looks are about equal unless you can find a limited pair of the roshes.

No need to double think about getting these shoes! I love Adidas and would rather support Adidas instead of Nike just because every one I know wears Nike. Nike came out with the roshes which are a good price but I was hoping Adidas would come out with something comfortable and within the same price range and these are it! I got them asap. The comfort level in these shoes are awesome feel great on my feet. I run track mostly distance runner I have yet to try these on the track but I'm not worried at all. These are also so comfortable you could wear these with anything from working out to casual use. Adidas All Day

I'm actually not a runner, but do walk, quickly mind you, to and from work. I've only got a mile to cover each way, but even then, my knees were getting a little punished when I was wearing my fashion sneaks.
These shoes fit my needs pretty good for the following reasons:
Light, comfortable, true to size
Their appearance is solid, but understated, which works better for me since I can keep wearing them once at work.
The soles have a good lateral support, and do a pretty good job of absorbing impact.
While they work great for me, I rated this good, because I'm not really sure how they perform for someone that is more serious about running in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by a630mp Great pair of running shoes
Considering the original price these would be a good purchase, let alone when I bought them for $35 on sale.
The is minimal padding for those who like to run barefoot style, while there is enough padding to not let down those who want some cushioning.
These can be worn without socks, but are only work perfect as long as you move (run/walk); otherwise you get a slippery feeling of sweat. So not good for those who want to use as a gym shoe or just normal usage without any socks.
The ventilation is amazing when you run as long as it's not too chilly, since you would feel the cold air next to your skin due to the upper material.
Overall great purchase and highly recommended to price conscience and performance oriented buyers.

I bought these shoes about a week ago, and I wear them everywhere. They are so comfortable and light that they almost feel like your wearing a pair of socks. They fit your foot like a glove, and are true to size. I will run in them too, but I like them as lifestyle shoes because they look great! The extra insoles made them a little too tight for my liking, but if you are planning on wearing them barefoot they might be nice. Overall a great purchase! I'll probably get another pair once these wear out!

Rated 3 out of 5 by freedom strider Great look, great feel, but...
I bought this as a casual for summer. I run a ton, 50+ miles a week, partly in the Glide Boost (great shoe, btw). I was looking for something light to kick around in, wear when I play with the kids, but something more stylish than an old pair of running shoes. These fit the bill to the T except the tag on the tongue. I did not realize until I got them that the "Made in China" tag with the barcode and the size of the shoe sits on the outside of the shoe under the laces. It's really silly and absolutely kills the style factor of the shoe. I imagine that if you ran in these, you wouldn't want the tag on the inside because the shoe is nothing more than a sock liner and that there is some government mandate that that be on there, but still, "Made in China" and a bar code?
