Awesome shoe, have been wearing it for years! Great support for those with weak ankle or flexible forefoot. This time the 7.5 size was slightly too long, but overall this shoe rocks the runs every time! (10-21km runs)
I love Stella McCartney's line of clothing and shoes. I already two pairs of Barricade, and wanted a pair of black ones. I ordered the same size as my other shoes, and they fit perfectly. Good support, and love the "Stella McCartney" detail at the back. Shoe laces stay tied, and don't get loose, no need for double knot. This isn't a shoe made specifically for tennis, like the Barricade, but I still played on the court with them, and felt secure in a fast paced game.
Shoes were shipped and arrived quickly as usual and they are fantastic... High quality, great styling and excellent value for the money... Adidas rocks and I will definitely be buying more stuff !!!... :)
I absolutely love my new running shoes. I bought these as a present for my birthday and besides the fact that they were discounted, they are so comfortable and light. I would definitely recommend this shoes!
Ordered a womens US size 7 cause that's what I am in all of my Adidas sneakers. These ones were a touch too long, Really comfortable but felt that little bit too big. Ended up exchanging for the US 6.5, a little more snug all round, with a bit of wear have stretched to be perfect. Both sizes were good, size & more comfortable, but I hate when my sneakers are too long and goofy feeling!
I've had Adidas Adizero runners going back over a number of years now, from Adizero Pro, Feathers, Adios etc. To me they represent the best in design while integrating a range of innovative but tested Adidas technologies. (If you are curious about the integrity with which the shoes are initially designed, look up a documentary by Adidas/SIZE called Mr. Omori. It can be found online.) Now, in my opinion, these particular shoes represent, at this time, the ultimate culmination in running shoe technology at the present time for a mid-distance (ca. 10K) minimal racing flat. If you are deciding to go minimal you've probably already weighed the pros and cons of that philosophy so I won't go into that. Ok, so from the bottom up: The outsole of the shoe is comprised of a ring of Continental rubber (a company known for their high quality tires) around a bunch of funny looking dots. These dots are small, street-and-track-suitable 'cleats', the result of affixing pieces of plasticized rubber onto softer rubber onto foam. They offer good traction on softer surfaces yet are remarkably durable for prolonged use on concrete, much to my surprise. At the very back a decoupled heel to more flexibly absorb heelstrikes. Through the arch there is a symmetrical torsion 'bar', which allows the heel and forefoot to move independently while remaining stable. The midsole is, through the heel and arch a layer of sturdy yet absorbing adiprene; in the forefoot, a layer of adiprene and Boost material. Boost is a bouncy material which, in my opinion, is meant to simulate a synthetic track on your foot. It is very soft and can be unstable, but the subtle use here offers its benefits--ultra-light, soft and springy--without its flaws. The upper is an ultra-light mesh with reinforcing materials at toe, mid-foot and heel--seems to me like a synthetic suede similar to what I have encountered on Adidas boxing shoes. This 'suede' is light-weight and much more durable than it would seem. The heel has a very secure, wrap around plastic insert to help with stability. All of these technologies, already proven in other shoes, along with their subtle and thoughtful implementation, for me make these shoes the ideal lightweight flat for track and street. As for size, I have a wide foot, almost always wear a 9.5US in Adidas (I can fit snugly in a 9 or loosely in a 10 as well) and these are no different. They do seem slightly, maybe a 1/8" smaller than others like a Boston 5; the way in which the upper is laid out, however, allows for the foot to stretch through mesh via various accommodations. Also, they look great. Thanks for reading.
First time I was on the trademill with this shoes, I could not believe how good it felt. I like shoes with lots of support and stability (I have flat feet) and this is it. I cannot believe how much this shoes made running more fun. Congratulation Adidas! You finally found material that is better than gel or air.
I love this shoe, just run my first half and got the shoes a day before the run,was alittle scare at first of the time i had with the shoe. I did not have a probles with the shoe...I will recomend this shoe 100% tney are worth the money..
They do come up on the large size, I have a 4.5 in the boost range and got a 4 in these but with correct lacing they didn't slip on their first outing. Felt just the right grip as I ran around parkrun (never felt stable in road trainers and wasn't sure whether it was worth spending on trail shoes, so glad I did) don't think I could justify the full price for occasional use but an absolute bargain in the sale, happy customer here!
Amazingly comfortable fits like a sock its the best purchase i have made in a very long time. its a more narrow fit than the tubulars and the boost technology gives a great cushioned feel when you walk or run
Yes it is pricey but it's important that my feet is extremely comfortable and happy. I'm a runner and I've gone 20 miles in one day on this shoes and I had no blisters or any other pain. After 6 miles your fit will start to swell and because the material is stretchable you don't feel the discomfort on your fit of feeling tight. I'm addicted to the Ultra Boost model for sure.
Just finished a run in these, and they fly. Fast but with a bid of support, nice feel and traction on some wet surfaces. Only complaint is they fit 1/4 size smaller than what I am used to. Ok for flat and uphills, but could be problems on downhill courses. May consider a 1/2 size up in the future, but overall pleased with these.
I love these shoes. I feel weightless when I train at the gym. Similar to a previous comment, the soles in my right shoe seem to always roll up and I have to roll it back with my toes, otherwise there will be a gap in between that isn't so convenient. I would prefer it if the laces were thicker, but that's a nice to have but not a need. Despite that, I love the colour and love the the way it feels.
These trainers are everything you could want in a running trainer, they are light and fit perfectly, the laces are long enough to double know so they don't come undone when running, and they have Continental soles (tyre maker) so I thinking ideal for wet weather. I love these trainers and am glad that I made purchase.
I got these running shoes for only 50 dollars which I believe it's a bargain. However,I would not recommend it to somebody who is really into running cause I think these shoes are more likely for walking.Anyway,It is perfect for me since I just jog and go for some casual exercises at the gym.
Really light weight shoes perfect for speed work. The Continental soles give impressive grip whilst the Boost technology provides a firm but responsive feel. Slightly narrow in the front so would recommend a half size up but the mesh upper does provide plenty of flexibility. And I love the colours!!
i got these trainers in the sale and they were faulty, the top part doesn't look right, they're loose in some parts of the fabric and really tight on others, just looks like they weren't sewn in properly... Disappointing as they look amazing on the website.
One of the best racing flats I've ever used. Normally would use the Adios, but this is a much more aggressive and ideal for racing rather than training. Works equally well for track sessions, mile reps and road running up to 10k. The black / white colour way makes this standard out as a really classy looking racer. Boost cushioning has only improved the takumi sen 3 over the 2 to just add that little bit of support. Grips well thanks to the continental rubber sole so fine to use in slippy conditions.
These shoes have a great look about them and are so light weight, great for running! However they are a very shallow shoe, so for someone like myself who needs to wear orthotic insoles whilst running, I would not recommend these trainers as the insoles don't sit well in them and your foot may slip out, but if you're blessed with not having problem feet, get these trainers!
These shoes are super cute and comfortable. I wear them as every day shoes. They go with all sorts of things, and I get regularly complimented on them. The strange thing with this shoe (as well as Adidas Power Boost shoes) is that the fit is off. I wear a size 7 but I had to get these in a size 8. The 7.5 felt too snug, and the 8 is a little too big, but I opted for a looser fit as the lesser of the evils. (I've never, ever worn a size 8.) The store employees said a lot of people have trouble with the fit as well.
I love these adidas running shoes. They are incredibly comfortable, made of great durable and breathable mesh material, feel springy to the step, and look great. NOTE * I would recommend these shoes to road runners only, as they don't have much lateral support. They are not suitable for cross training or trail running, but super for road running, walking, and gym equipment workouts.
I absolutely love these shoes and have now purchased in three colors. I have low arches and they provide me the stability I need to do all my workouts. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of weight training and high impact workouts. I find these to be light weight, very supportive and true to size. I also like the color selections, although the pink is much brighter in person and not to my taste.
I ordered a 4.5 instead of UK 5 due to another review. They fit week but I think a 5 would have been fine also. They are bouncy and lightweight and super comfy. The colours are great and you can wear with jeans and of course for training.
I absolutely love these trainers, the colour is perfect and just how they look online. I think they come up slightly too small and I ended up getting a blister on my right foot but the more I wear them the better they feel.
Slightly 'louder' in colour than expected but I found the sizing just right. Good width and as above, instantly comfortable. Haven't tried them in mud yet (!) but have tried them in the park. So far, so good.
