Rated 5 out of 5 by Razer miCoach Pacer Bundle
The Adidas miCoach Pacer Bundle works great. I found the products to work very well together along with the Adroid and Windows software to connect to the miCoach website. I have found this to be very helpful in giving guidance while working out and the data collected to be helpful and motivating to keep improving. I recommend this to anyone that works out on their own and wants to improved their cardio strength through interval running.

I just figured out how to use the pacer bundle not to long ago. Didn't start out good the first couple of times i charged it fully the battery lights would not turn off had to wait for the battery to die before getting it to work again. But now its working good and i do enjoy it. I did notice that you could walk, run or bike but is there a rollerblade option for the micoach as well. If not something to think about.

Rated 2 out of 5 by amtl Great idea with very poor execution.
Great idea with very poor execution.
Hardware has some design flaws that become quite annoying over time. For example:
1) the grip that's supposed to attach the pacer to your clothing is very badly designed, the pacer won't stay attached once you start running and hitting the pavement. It keeps falling.
2) You need different cables to attach the pacer to your computer and MP3 player
3) Once you attack your MP3 player to the pacer, you can't use the remote anymore. You need to do basic commands such as volume, skip etc manually.
4) The feedback voice is recorded in mono and sounds pretty bad.
5) Having to press a button to every time you want to check your workout stats is quite annoying.
Software and micoach's site are an important part to get the most out of you pacer. Unfortunately the site is not very user friendly, and worst of all, it's very buggy. It's a flash site and every time there's some kind of malfunction. Same thing for the iPhone app.
I've had this bundle for a few months and I'm very disappointed. Monitoring and recording your runs is very motivating and helpful, but the hardware and software are so poorly made, it just brings the whole experience down. I'm ready to throw my pacer bundle in the garbage and look for another system.
I'll give two star for the concept, otherwise I can not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LeoRabadan Mi Coach Peacer
In early October I bought the Adidas Peacer, in order to improve my times in training, I can share that is a very good product. On September 12, 2010 ran my first marathon in 4:15, on November 14 ran the marathon in 3:45, miCoach definitely had a direct influence in my new record, Adidas miCoach gave me the training adequate to achieve the goal I was behind.
Statistics and graphs that presents are great and help you meet your performance in the race, also keeps you motivated to follow your goals. Choose one of the many trainings that presents you, follow him! and see the result!

Being able to track my heart rate accurately I have found is key for me to increase my fitness level. As a beginning runner the Pacer with its stride rate sensor and heart trate monitor have helped my learn how to push myself without going overboard.Since I started using the Pacer I have knocked 30 seconds off my average mile. I do wish there was a GPS added to make it all inclusive but I can use my IPhone for that part of the tracking. Combingin the 2 the Pacer and the MiCoach Mobile gives a balanced review of my work outs that really is making improvements in my running.

Bought the pacer about 7-8mo ago, went through 2 full trainings, before they introduced the sport specific trainings. I am a believer now, it had it's problems, but I am expecting adidas will perfect this product. The website is excellent, you can see your progress and it really pushes you in a planned manner. I used to coach myself, without any concept or strategy, I would run like crazy and next time would hate it...but with myCoach it is different. You build on the previous sessions, and it is far more easier. It is like someone is running with you and tells you what to do.
I just started testing the tennis trainer, so I cannot comment on that one, but all I can say based on my exp. so far it is 100% worth the money.

I am absolutely thrilled with this micoach pacer, the ability to choose workouts is great, the device is light, barely noticeable but so worthwhile. In conjuction with the micoach site I have found it phenomenal in motivating me throughout my soccer running workouts. Buy this if you find yourself not motivated during portions of your runs. It's easy to use, easy to synch and the use of the micoach website to track, graph and schedule your workouts is a great addition. I highly recommend this product!

The Adidas Mi Coach Pacer has been a great running partner, and I am still digging the British accent. One of the great things about the pacer, is its versatility to adapt to my changing shoes. Whether I am running loops around the track, hitting the trails, or going for a leisurely run around my neighborhood, the Mi Coach system connects to all my pairs of running shoes - no need to by the MiCoach companion apparel unless you like the way they look.
I've been training to drop my 5k pace on a monthly basis. If the pre-programmed programs don't work for you, MiCoach has the ability for individuals to put together their own training plans. I wore the MiCoach during practice to make sure I kept my split time during intervals, and then wore it during the race to make sure I kept my pace right where I wanted.
