Firmer and slightly less flexible than the Tiro shin guards. My 11 yo son prefers to use these as his backups, but still really likes them. He just prefers a thinner, more flexible shin guard. I’d recommend these if your kid prefers higher protection. Very durable and lasts through multiple machine washings.

If you want a minimalistic shin pad this is it it doesn’t get in the way and is very lightweight at a cheap price.
