How does HEAT.RDY technology keep you cool?
adidas' HEAT.RDY technology is built to enhance airflow and keep your feet cool, dry, and comfortable during intense training. With strategically placed vents in the Dropset 3, it helps regulate temperature and prevent overheating, so you can stay focused, push harder, and take on even the sweatiest workouts.
What is GeoFit technology?
adidas’ GeoFit technology is a number of strategically placed cushions around the ankle area of the shoe. It’s used in adidas Dropset trainers' heel construction – in the support and lockdown to keep heels in position to lift. Good shoes for strength training require your feet to stay grounded, as you don’t want your feet slipping when you lift heavy weights. GeoFit technology is used in powerlifting shoes and cross-training shoes too for the same reason.
What is the benefit of dual-density midsoles?
There are two layers of foam in adidas Dropset trainer shoes. The stiffer midsole foam in the heel adds stability, and the softer foam in the forefront is for added comfort and flexibility. Combined, they add controlled stability you can trust throughout the most intense workout. Strength training shoes require comfort to block out distractions, and stability you can trust to lift heavy with good form. The adidas Dropset's dual-density midsoles tick both boxes, giving you the foundation for strength workouts.
Why do adidas Dropset trainers have a flat base?
A flat base is common for strength training shoes as your feet have more stability to lift safely. That’s why powerlifting shoes and weightlifting shoes have a flat base too. The adidas Dropset 3 is the latest addition to the Dropset collection. It has a flat base, backed with a Traxion® outsole to add controlled stability to your lifts. Stability is key as shoes for strength training should be as stable as possible to engage the right muscles.

Whether lifting, pushing or pulling, Dropset 3 trainers provide the stable support needed for strength training. A dual-density midsole keeps feet cushioned through intense reps, while a TPU sidewall locks in the midfoot. adidas HEAT.RDY keeps feet cool even when the workout heats up. Wider than standard fit, these trainers comfortably contain any foot swell from exertion.
This product features at least 20% recycled materials. By reusing materials that have already been created, we help to reduce waste and our reliance on finite resources and reduce the footprint of the products we make.

Great comfortableness yet provides very even weight balance for my foot grip to the ground. Works great for deadlift and squat where I can better maintain the weight distribution on the foot, critical for great posture.

Perfect gym shoe, planted and comfortable
