ADIDAS ORIGINALS BY WALES BONNER

For the Spring/Summer 2021 collaboration, Wales Bonner constructs a collection that explores the diasporic connections between Britain and the Caribbean. Inspired by designer Grace Wales Bonner's heritage, the collection features reimagined 80s-era pieces including shorts, t-shirts, and tracksuits elevated with vintage cut lines, rich ribs, mesh, and tartan prints. For the collection's footwear offering, Wales Bonner created fresh updates to the adidas Samba and Nizza silhouettes in a variety of thematic colourways. The launch of the collection is accompanied by a poignant photographic campaign and a short film shot in Jamaica by Jeano Edwards, which focuses on the horse groomers and trainers of Caymanas Park.
