Everything that is essential. Nothing that is not.

Born in 1991, adidas Equipment is a premium apparel and footwear collection, reimagined with engineered materials and advanced technologically inspired.

adidas EQT

Introduced to the world in 1990, the adidas EQT (shorthand for "Equipment") range was created by lauded designer Peter Moore. His famous description of the franchise's ethos, "everything that's essential, nothing that's not," was perfectly reflected in the first EQT shoes off the blocks. Unlike their showy rivals, they were stripped down to the essentials and focused only on features that would make them more effective for athletes. Even their now-famous black, white and green colour scheme kept things simple. The advent of this new line also introduced a fresh logo for the 3-Stripes. The adidas Badge of Sport would subsequently replace the Trefoil on all adidas performance wear.

The adidas EQT apparel range also followed that same no-nonsense philosophy. Famous for its loose fits and bold 3-Stripes, it was a style that cemented its place in the hearts of sports fans all over the world. Even after its first reign ended, it was still well represented amongst the crowds at soccer games and running meets. Fast-forward three decades and you'll still find adidas EQT-inspired styles available to buy. Modern iterations of heritage shoes and completely new styles based on those guiding Peter Moore principles catch the eye. Apparel collections, meanwhile, reintroduce those larger-than-life vibes that were so popular amongst match-going crowds. Check out our adidas EQT range and bring home a part of 3-Stripes history.
